Warm Light Cool Morning

Warm Light Cool Morning
Lets take a walk (23 Pictures)
Late November rain has been sparse the temperature this morning is almost freezing.
The tip of the sun has just announced itself on the horizon.
Soon everything will be green, let's follow the path upwards and winding.
During the summer herds of cows graze freely keeping good pasture management, sometimes they block the path.
The skeleton trees are looking harsh with foreground blades of straw grass shooting tall.
Rockville Hills Regional Park has over 600 acres, apparently wild cats and coyotes inhibit the area.
Soon we will arrive to the lake.
So far the rain has fallen once in 8 months.
The lake has receded to lowest levels in many years.
I'm standing on the lakebed, where has the water gone.
In the past I've taken pictures with geese paddling in the same area.
A lonely picnic table better times are ahead.
A wooden footpath/bridge to cross the water, two years ago, closed due to excessive rain.
Dry lakebed, during the spring & summertime keen young anglers cast away enthusiastically.
Massive boulders sporadically appear at random and boggle the mind how they got there, must be natural from the very beginning of time.
The cows & calves have been rounded up for the winter. Next on the calendar will be the sheep in Spring. If we have rain, all will be lushly rewarding.
These Mountain Bikers have woke up early to enjoy the fresh autumn air.
A brand new day has began with warm light but it's a cold morning, peace and quiet is a kingdom of gold around here.
A good brisk walk in the morning is very beneficial to one's constitution!
When the cows give birth in summer they become very protective, they tend to charge-down if anyone gets too close. I've heard many stories of people hiding behind trees, did you know in America cows hurt more people then shark attacks, very true!!

Time for breakfast and a cup of coffee!!

Thanks for trekking along!
